Phillips Industries Strengthens Field Sales Force
Santa Fe Springs, CA (June 15, 2011) Phillips Industries has strengthened their field sales force with the addition of Randy Long, Mathew Sayre and Nick Tosie as new Terriroty Sales Managers and the promotion of John Nigent to Western Regional Sales Manager. All will report to Randy Walker, National Sales Manager/ Aftermarket.
Nugent joined Phillips Industries from Genuine Auto Parts in 2006. Prior to his promotion, he was a top producing territory sales manager covering the Southern United States. In his new role, Nugent will be responsible for building Phillips aftermarket sales in the western states with strong customer focused programs addressing the needs of Phillips distributors and the fleets they serve. He holds an Associate Degree Arts & Science from Brookhaven College in Dallas, TX and has earned several electrical certifications.
Long joins Phillips Industries as Territory Sales Manager covering Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Long brings years of experience and the commcerical electrical industries to his new position with Phillips Industries. He has help management and sales positions with WLS Lighting, Intra-Tech/Midtronics and Hendrickon. Long holds a B.S. in Family Finanical planning with a minor ir marketing and accounting from Texas Tech University.
Sayre joins Phillips Industries after more than 20 years with Madison Truck Sales where he most recently held the position of Parts Manager and Purchaser. He is a native of Wisconsin and as Territory Sales Manager will cover South Dakota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois for Phillips.
Tosie joins Phillips as Territory Sales Manager covering Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska. His work experience in the truck industry includes parts and service management positions at Detroit Diesel, Freightliner, Kenworth and Volvo dealers, most recenely as Aftermarket Account Manager for Stewart and Stevenson in Dallas, TX. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applued Arts and Sciences from the University of North Texas.
