Santa Fe Springs, CA (May 28, 2013) Phillips Industries is being recognized by Daimler Trucks North America with their Masters of Quality Award for 2012 earned by each of their North American manufacturing locations. The Commercial Vehicle Products (CVP) facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA is receiving the award for the fourth time since 2007; the Electrical Harness Division (EHD) located in Saltillo, Mexico is being recognized by Daimler for the second consecutive year.
DTNA presents the Masters of Quality Award annually to an elite group of suppliers who meet their rigorous standards and also show a commitment for continual improvement. Daimlers suppliers are evaluated semi-annually on more than 100 criteria related to quality, service, aftermarket parts availability, engineering, warranty, and purchasing; and only those rated at the top are recognized with this award.
