Grand Opening for Phillips Industries’ New Electrical Harness Division Facility
Santa Fe Springs, CA (March 11, 2015) On March 5th, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in Coahuila, Mexico to officially open Phillips Industries’ newly expanded Electrical Harness Division. Many US- and Mexico-based company executives, family members, including past-president Bob Phillips and his wife Lexi, and local dignitaries were present to dedicate the new facility on Avenida Bob Phillips in Coahuila.
The new facility, which is located in close proximity to OEM’s that Phillips supplies in Mexico, was built and designed to support the significant growth in EHD business since the move to Mexico six years ago, as well as position the company for the planned further expansion of their electrical harness business. Modernized lean manufacturing techniques along with in-line testing equipment give EHD the ability and flexibility to meet increased customer demands for quality commercial vehicle harnesses. EHD products include entire electrical harness systems, both standard and customized, as well as separate harness modules and pigtails.
