John Callos Retired Phillips Industries Sales Executive, Passes Away
Santa Fe Springs, CA (October 24, 2019) John Callos, retired Phillips Industries sales executive, passed away October 15, 2019.
Callos spent more than 20 years at Phillips Industries retiring as vice president of sales and marketing in 1999. Throughout his tenure with the company, Callos left a strong impression with everyone he encountered – employees, customers, and industry colleagues. His presentations were legendary.

Outside his position with Phillips Industries, Callos worked as an advisor to the President of the United States for the original drafting of the NAFTA Agreement. He was actively engaged with the leadership of the Port of Long Beach. Callos was on the Board of the Aquatics Capital of America and actively working to have the Olympics swimming and diving events held in Long Beach in 2028. Callos is survived by his son, John Callos, Jr., and daughter, Jennifer.
