Phillips Adds QCP™ (Quick-Connect Plugs) Option on All Electrical Cables

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PHILLIPS ADDS QCP™ (QUICK-CONNECT PLUGS) OPTION ON
ALL ELECTRICAL CABLES

Santa Fe Springs, CA (December 18, 2008) Phillips Industries has expanded their award-winning line of Quick-Connect Plug (QCP™) assemblies by offering them as an option on all electrical cables.  With QCP™ electrical assemblies, changing a plug is cut from 20 minutes down to less than 2 minutes, allowing a fleet to save the cost of an additional electrical assembly. The plug is easily removed and replaced with a new corrosion-resistant QCP™ cartridge.  And, for quick on-road repairs, extra QCP™ cartridges (Part number 16-125) can be stored on-board.

The QCP™ was one of 2005’s best new products in the industry and up till now has only been offered with the top-of-the-line ABS LECTRACOIL™ jacketing.  Starting immediately, the QCP™ is available on ABS PERMACOIL™ and PERMACOIL™ cables.

When replacing or spec’ing electrical cables, time and money can be saved by asking for Phillips QCP™ assemblies.  The QCP™ cartridge is field-repaired in seconds and sealed for corrosion protection to last longer than standard assemblies. Phillips electrical assemblies are chemical and abrasion resistant and have excellent re-coil memory.  Ask your Phillips authorized dealer for the appropriate QCP™ electrical assembly for your operation.
