Phillips Connect Technologies Names Business Development Manager

Santa Fe Springs, CA (March 19, 2018) Phillips Connect Technologies (PCT), a business of Phillips Industries, has named Kent Crymes as business development manager. In this new position, Crymes will focus his attention on advancing PCT’s smart trailer technology, TrailerNet™ , as the first-choice option for fleets that are pursuing intelligent trailer capabilities.

Crymes first joined Phillips Industries in 2012 as a territory sales manager and was promoted in 2015 to OEM/OES sales manager for the trailer segment. Bill Ellis, managing director of PCT, commented, “Kent’s new position with the Phillips Connect Technologies organization reflects his clear understanding of the advantages of future trailer technology and how TrailerNet will fundamentally improve fleet operations. Kent has developed key relationships with Phillips’ core OEM and fleet customers and is highly respected internally. We’re very excited to have him on board with PCT.”

Crymes received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Presbyterian College, Clinton, SC, with a concentration in accounting and business management. He is a member of the Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) of the American Trucking Association.
