Phillips Industries’ Consultant Pete Joy is HDAW 2015 Hall of Fame Recipient
Las Vegas, NV (Feb 4, 2015) During opening ceremonies for Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) 2015, Pete Joy, Head of Sales and Marketing at Phillips Industries, was announced as this year’s Hall of Fame recipient. Joy was recognized for the impact he has had in the evolution of the independent aftermarket industry and as one of the early leaders of the HD Aftermarket Suppliers Council which helped establish HDAW as a premier venue for independent aftermarket participants.
During the award presentation, Gary Meteer, Director Global Commercial Products, IHS Automotive – Driven by Polk, thanked Joy for his industry leadership “Pete has given selflessly of his personal and professional time as a steward of the industry and remains today one of its staunchest supporters.”

An independent panel selects the honoree each year based on length of service, significant impact on the industry, commitment and industry participation and thought leadership. In 2014 the panel selected Bob Phillips, former president and CEO of Phillips Industries to receive the award.
