Phillips Industries Electrical Harness Division Celebrates 10th Year Anniversary of Expansion and Achieves Production Growth and New Quality Certifications
Coahuila, Mexico (November 08, 2018) Phillips Industries Electrical Harness Division (EHD), located in the state of Coahuila, is celebrating their 10th anniversary of the expansion to Mexico producing Phillips electrical harnesses for the global trailer market.
EHD has experienced 600 percent growth since Phillips made the decision to expand production of electrical harnesses into Mexico in 2008. The EHD facility footprint has increased from 90,480 square feet to its current size of 140,000 square feet.
Because of the outstanding quality of the products manufactured at the EHD facility, Phillips electrical harnesses are standard on over 50% of trailers on the road in North America. In addition to marking a decade of manufacturing Phillips electrical harnesses, EHD also achieved the IATF-16949 quality certification in 2018.
