Phillips Industries Introduces Controller for Trailer Dome Lamps

Santa Fe Springs, CA (March 9, 2006) Phillips Industries has revolutionized the way to manage power to interior dome lamps. The PERMALOGIC™ controller eliminates any chance of accidentally leaving interior trailer dome lamps on by cutting off power to the lamps when the brake pedal is depressed. Power is also interrupted when there is an under/over battery voltage situation or at a pre-determined elapsed time. By automatically switching off interior dome lamps in these circumstances, fleets can significantly reduce their lamp replacement costs.

The fully electronic and weatherproof PERMALOGIC™ can handle up to 6 florescent lamps on a single circuit using standard 8-gauge interior trailer wiring. When installed with the LED Logic Switch, the controller has a multi-color LED that indicates the status of the trailer electrical system. PERMALOGIC™ was designed by Phillips Industries to address a major cost issue affecting fleet operators, the on-going expense of replacing trailer lamps.
