Phillips Industries Makes Personnel Announcements
Santa Fe Springs, CA (February 14, 2013) Phillips Industries has announced the promotion of David Phillips to the position of Vice President New Business Development and the addition of Dennis Damman as National Fleet Sales Manager.
Dave Phillips has worked for Phillips Industries for sixteen years in positions of increasing responsibility including; operations, purchasing and sales. Prior to his latest promotion, Dave was General Manager of the Commercial Vehicle Products Division where he excelled leading the adoption of the company’s LEAN manufacturing system, which led to increasing efficiencies company-wide. In his new role, Dave will be working closely with Executive Management, OEM and aftermarket Sales, Marketing, and Operations to develop new customers and markets as well as to expand the company’s market share in North America.
Dennis Damman joined Phillips following a twenty year career in the commercial vehicle industry that includes Senior Executive positions at a major fleet and a chassis OEM. He was Director of engineering at Schneider National, Inc. for 20+ years and most recently, Dennis spent 5 years as Vice president of Engineering and Operations for Direct Chassis, Inc. Damman is a recognized contributor to the Technology and Maintenance Council of ATA and brings a strong engineering background to his new role with Phillips.
