Phillips Industries Promotes Walker To National Sales Manager Of The Aftermarket

PHILLIPS INDUSTRIES PROMOTES WALKER TO
NATIONAL SALES MANAGER OF THE AFTERMARKET

(March 9, 2009) Phillips Industries of Santa Fe Springs, CA has promoted Randy Walker to the position of National Sales Manager of the Aftermarket. In his new position, Walker will be responsible for the overall execution of the company’s sales initiatives.   He will focus on enhancing Phillips’ presence as a leading supplier of advanced electrical and air brake interface equipment to the Heavy Duty Aftermarket by creating new programs, streamlining internal and external processes and developing products that solve problems for the industry.  “Randy has played a key role in our successes at Phillips in recent years” commented Bill Phillips, to whom Walker will report.  “We’re exceedingly pleased to make this important promotion at this time; and know that, in his new position, Randy has a strong commitment to do what’s necessary to build on those successes.”

Walker joined Phillips Industries as Regional Sales Manager in 2003.  Previous positions included Regional Sales Manager with Intra Technologies of Tukwila, WA and Vice President of Marketing for American TruckSource, Dallas, TX.  Walker graduated from the University of North Texas with a BBA in Labor Relations.
