Phillips Industries Receives Top Award From Canadian Distributor

PHILLIPS INDUSTRIES RECEIVES TOP AWARD
FROM CANADIAN DISTRIBUTOR

Santa Fe Springs, CA (February 26, 2009) Phillips Industries recently received the Atlantic Division Best Field Support Award from Palmar, a leading heavy duty distributor headquartered in Quebec Canada.  The award was presented to Phillips representative, Michel Du Bois during Palmar’s annual sales meeting and trade fair, which was held January 17-18, 2009 in Montreal.  This was joint effort between Michael Poschner, Canadian National Sales Manager, Michel Du Bois, Territory Sales Manager of Quebec and Atlantic Region and John Bailey, Territory Sales Manager of Ontario.

In 2006, Phillips Industries expanded their commitment to the Canadian market when they opened their distribution center in Mississauga, Ontario. Phillips Industries now operates three distribution facilities in the U.S. and Canada, supplying the company’s expansive line of electrical and air brake interface components to heavy duty distributors and dealers. 

Palmar (www.palmar.ca) is the Heavy Duty Division of Uni-Select, specializing in the marketing and distribution of replacement parts for trucks, trailers, other heavy duty vehicles, and busses; as well as tools for vehicle repair workshops and wheels and mags for passenger cars.  They operate 25 stores throughout Eastern Canada.
