Phillips Industries Recognized by Wabash as an Outstanding Supplier for the Third Straight Year

Phillips Solutions are Standard Fit, and Phillips REAR-VU Backup Camera is a Standard Option on all Wabash Trailers

Irvine, Calif. – June 12, 2025 – Phillips Industries has been awarded the Platinum Award as an outstanding supplier for the third consecutive year by Wabash, the visionary leader of connected solutions for the transportation, logistics and distribution industries. Phillips solutions, including noseboxes, harnesses, and gladhands, are standard fit on all Wabash trailers, and Phillips is also a strategic partner in Wabash’s Trailer as a Service (TaaS) strategy.

Earlier this year, Wabash also announced that it had added Phillips REAR-VU Backup Camera as a standard option on its dry van trailers. The Phillips REAR-VU Camera is the first universally compatible backup camera system designed for the trucking industry. The system allows drivers to access real-time, high-definition video from behind the trailer, providing an added layer of visibility to anyone operating a tractor-trailer, particularly useful in busy yards, at loading docks and in urban environments.

“Wabash has an outstanding reputation for building world-class, innovative trailers, and Phillips is honored to be a key partner in their Trailer-as-a-Service strategy,” said Rob Phillips, CEO at Phillips. “For nearly a century, Phillips has been synonymous with high-quality, customer-centric solutions for the transportation industry, and receiving this recognition from Wabash is a much-appreciated testament to the strength and talent of our team, and our unwavering commitment to excellence.”

The Wabash Platinum Award is presented to top suppliers such as Phillips for excellence in supply chain performance. Award criteria include delivery, quality, innovation, cost and service. Wabash presented Phillips with its award at the Wabash Supplier Symposium in May.
