Phillips Congratulates Sara Wissmueller on Her Nomination for the Orange County Business Journal’s Women in STEM Award

Phillips Industries is pleased to announce that Sara Wissmueller, Chief Information Officer, has been nominated for the Orange County Business Journal‘s Women in STEM Award. Sara’s nomination underscores her exceptional leadership and significant contributions to Phillips Industries, particularly in advancing the company’s tech initiatives and enhancing efficiencies and security​.

The Award is part of their broader Women in Business Awards program, which annually recognizes outstanding professional women who have made significant contributions to their organizations, their professions, and the Orange County community. The awards highlight achievements in various fields, including STEM, and celebrate the impact these women have on their industries and beyond. Recipients are selected based on their business accomplishments, industry and community involvement, and leadership qualities. 

Under Sara’s corporate leadership, Phillips has seen significant advancements in efficiency, security, and seamless operations. Her initiatives encompass network support, ERP and CRM development and administration, compliance, cybersecurity, and robust business continuity plans.

Sara Wissmueller is a proud California resident. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Information Systems and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Marquette University.
