A Phillips Industries Product Once Again Chosen for Heavy Duty Trucking Top 20
Santa Fe Springs, CA (February 26, 2014) Phillips STA-DRY® QCMS2™ (Quick Connect Modular System) is among Heavy Duty Trucking’s 2014 Top 20 Products. The list includes products introduced in 2013 and chosen by HDT editorial staff based on level of innovation, if it addresses significant industry issues or concerns, and its potential to improve a trucking operation’s bottom line.
A Phillips Industries product has made HDT’s Top 20 list in three of the last five years reflecting the company’s on-going commitment in their development of products that find a solution to a problem as communicated to them by fleet representatives. Rob Phillips, President, commented about this latest recognition of Phillips product innovation “Phillips is again pleased to have one of our products named to this list because we know that HDT understands what their primary readership, fleets, need to run a successful operation. We do listen to what fleets tell us and each time one of our products makes the Top 20 we believe we have introduced a solution to something that concerns them and that’s our goal.”
The patented STA-DRY® QCMS2™ is the newest product innovation designed to fight the harmful effects of corrosion build up in the electrical systems of commercial vehicles. The QCMS2™ is semi-hardwired to the tractor creating a complete seal at the 7-way connection. By removing the socket from the union, the QCMS2™ mates directly with the Phillips STA-DRY® QCS® or QCS2® (Quick Connect Socket) boot (standard on most tractor OEM’s), so there is no break or gap where moisture can enter. Phillips has been the leader in testing and introducing new technology developed specifically to seal the electrical system from contaminants and debris.
