MASTERS OF QUALITY AWARD
Santa Fe Springs, CA (October 28, 2008) On September 25th, Daimler Trucks North America LLC presented Phillips Industries with their 2007 Masters of Quality Award. The presentation ceremony was held at the Phillips Santa Fe Spring, CA headquarters with all company employees in attendance to accept this prestigious award.
During the award presentation, Bob Phillips, President of Phillips Industries thanked Daimler for this recognition and recognized the hard work of everyone at Phillips “To be presented with this very special award reinforces our commitment to meet the high level of quality demanded by companies such as Daimler Trucks. Our employees are 100% behind this effort and they make these honors possible. The Phillips team expects to contend for the Masters of Quality Award in 2008 and beyond.”
DTNA presents the Masters of Quality Award annually to an elite group of suppliers who meet their rigorous standards and also show a commitment for continual improvement. Daimler’s suppliers are evaluated semi-annually on more than 100 criteria related to quality, service, aftermarket parts availability, engineering, warranty and purchasing; and only those rated at the top are recognized with this award. Phillips Industries supplies DTNA with cab harnesses, trailer cables, and other related products.
