Santa Fe Springs, CA (November 15, 2011) Phillips Industries has hired Tom Pittam to fill the new position of Southeast Asia Sales Manager. Pittam will report directly to Travis Hopkey, Global Business Development Manager and will be responsible for continuing Phillips growing presence in the Asia region.
Pittam brings to Phillips more than 30 years experience working in the transportation sector in the Far East. For twelve years immediately prior to joining Phillips, he was Technical Director and Marketing Manager for Yonming Auto and Industrial Equipment SDN. BHD, a parts distributor located in Kuala Lumpur. In this position, Pittam was responsible for expanding the distribution of North American and European branded truck parts throughout S.E. Asia. Pittam is a U.S. Army veteran and graduated from the University of Oregon.
