Phillips Industries Expands Electrical Harness Division

PHILLIPS INDUSTRIES EXPANDS
ELECTRICAL HARNESS DIVISION

Santa Fe Springs, CA (January 22, 2009) Phillips Industries has expanded their Electrical Harness Division (EHD), located in Saltillo, Mexico, to meet increased industry demands for their products, which include trailer harnesses and associated components for van, reefer and cargo semi-trailers as well as smaller trailers utilized for recreational vehicles, boat and utility trailer towing. The Phillips STA-DRY® Modular Harness System, produced in Saltillo, is the most spec'd trailer electrical wiring harness system in North America today.

Phillips Industries moved the Electrical Harness Division to Saltillo, Mexico in 2007 because the increased demand required the company to seek larger, more efficient manufacturing facilities. In 2008, Fili Coello joined Phillips as General Manager of EHD focusing on continuous improvement to further increase capacity and reduce lead times. Rob Phillips, Director of Operations for Phillips Industries stated “We’ve made some incredible enhancements to our operation in Saltillo which is evidenced by our service levels and excellent quality performance. We appreciate the hard work and commitment of everyone involved.” A virtual tour of Phillips EHD can be viewed on www.youtube.com by searching “Phillips Saltillo”.
