Phillips Technologies Group Announces Appointment of Julita Mazurkiewicz as General Counsel
Santa Fe Springs, CA (July 30, 2019) In May 2019 Julita Mazurkiewicz joined the Phillips Technologies Group (PTG) and its subsidiary Phillips Fortech Poland Sp. z o.o. (PFP) to fill dual roles as General Counsel for PTG in Europe and General Counsel for PFP. Julita will also assume the position of Commercial Proxy at PFP.
Involvement of Julita Mazurkiewicz will ensure expert and legal advice to Phillips Fortech Poland, PTG and Phillips management. Her scope of duties shall include setting internal PFP and PTG Europe governance policies as well as evaluating key inputs and impacts of decisions concerning the companies’ activities. Julita will also be responsible for compliance, acting as an effective guardian of the organization’s ethics and values, as well as facilitate business strategy development.
Prior to joining Phillips, Julita Mazurkiewicz was a Senior Associate at the CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang Po?niak i Sawicki law firm in Warsaw, Poland. She has 13 years of sound, legal experience in many sectors including; corporate, capital markets, commercial, banking, and real estate. In 2018 and 2019, Julita was recommended by the legal commentary Legal 500 EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). She was also recently recognized with the 2018 Rising Stars Award as one of the 10 best young lawyers in Poland.
