The Digital Marketing Specialist for Phillips Corporate plays a critical role in enhancing our online presence and engagement. This position focuses on managing and optimizing social media channels, creating engaging video content, developing newsletters, producing digital assets, and maintaining and optimizing our websites for all business units. The Digital Marketing Specialist also oversees the utilization of tools like Hootsuite and collaborates with social media vendors and external support for optimal results. Experience in the commercial vehicle industry is strongly preferred.


  • Organic and Paid Social Media Development, Management, and Execution: Strategize, develop, and manage social media campaigns and content across platforms. Utilize tools like Hootsuite for analytics and insights. Collaborate with social media vendors and external support for efficient execution.
  • Video Storyboarding: Conceptualize and storyboard video content that aligns with marketing objectives and resonates with the target audience.
  • Newsletter Development and Distribution: Create engaging newsletters, manage subscriber lists, and distribute them to our audience.
  • Digital Asset Creation: Design and produce digital assets such as graphics, images, infographics, and videos to support marketing campaigns.
  • Website Updates: Ensure the Phillips websites (Phillips Industries and Phillips Connect) remain up-to-date by posting blogs, updating bios, showcasing awards, and optimizing content for search engines. SEO: Optimize content for search engines and lead generation, and monitor/report success over time. Track website traffic and provide regular reports.
  • Ad Hoc Responsibilities: Perform additional related duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of digital marketing efforts for Phillips Corporate.

In this role, the Digital Marketing Specialist serves as a central figure in enhancing the online presence and engagement for Phillips Corporate (Phillips Industries and Phillips Connect), aligning with marketing objectives and fostering growth.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience of 3+ years in digital marketing, showcasing proficiency in managing social media, creating digital assets, and updating websites.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and social media management tools like Hootsuite.
  • Proficient SEO knowledge including a track record of enhancing website visibility, improving search engine rankings, and increasing organic traffic through well-researched and effectively implemented optimization strategies.
  • Ad buying experience, with the ability to demonstrate an understanding of various advertising platforms, skilled in budget allocation, and adept at maximizing ROI through strategic and targeted advertising campaigns.
  • Strong video storyboarding skills and knowledge of video production processes.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and newsletter creation (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Graphic design skills and proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) for website updates (e.g., WordPress).
  • Analytical skills to interpret data from social media and other digital marketing efforts to optimize strategies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft engaging content.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities to tackle digital marketing challenges.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality in all digital marketing materials.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
